On My Way Home

Posted on: August 10, 2008 3:07 PM, by Ed Brayton

I'm in LaGuardia airport waiting for my flight to leave. If you'd like to see pictures of the ScienceBlog folks who gathered this weekend, Bora has a couple posts full of them. For your benefit, I'm only in one or two pictures. I'm sure he'll have more. I'm not sure who takes more pictures per second, Bora or Wesley Elsberry. But I do know that Bora's camera is a lot smaller. Not that size matters. I mean, I hear it doesn't matter.

good luck, ed - i got the earlier flight but we've been sitting on the tarmac with 20 other planes for almost three hours due to weather. the captain is thinking about taking us back to the terminal.

it was absolutely a pleasure to finally meet you. ed brayton is an incredibly nice guy. i have a very nice picture of us that was taken but i obviously won't put it on my blog.

Yep, my plane sat on the runway for nearly an hour but we finally did get off the ground. Ended up landing only about 15 minutes late, so I can't complain. It was great to meet you too, Abel. Hope to see you in January.

Size doesn't matter but you do. You and your blog are a safe harbor for me. Thank you.

alright, i'm requesting we coordinate a meetup here in Michigan. You're here. Wes is here. Maybe we can get the other cool MSU scientists-in-the-news to go... we could hang out in downtown lansing where the politicians can overhear us talking about those silly anti-evolution bills...
