This Must Be Negrophilia

Posted on: October 21, 2008 9:16 AM, by Ed Brayton

Here's a story about an Ohio resident displaying some of that negrophilia that Erik Rush thinks white people suffer from. He says Obama isn't a "full blooded American," which he defines as a "white Christian."

wow, that's some powerful hate. upsidedown obama sign, noose, star of david spraypainted on the head, "hussain" spraypainted on the body... I think that the neighbors are right to worry about this guy and what extremes he might be pushed to. I also feel for that woman whose child told her that Obama was hanging upsidedown, I know the fear and dread that I'd have on first hearing that.

Here's hoping the community makes it clear that messages of hate aren't acceptable. (on a side note, I also have a problem with the McCain in KKK robes that was shown, but that's not the topic at hand)

You want to really feel afraid? Read this article about a black bear cub that was killed, covered with Obama posters and dumped on university campus. I still can't believe the racism that's coming out of the closet this fall.

Depressingly backwards, yes. But it's the fact that they have both the Arabic middle name and the Star of David that confuse the heck out of me. What, exactly, is he trying to say?

(Besides, "Look at me! I'm a racist idiot")

The John McCain-KKK thing was more than a little idiotic, I'd agree. But only one of the two images is an actual threat.

And what's with the star of David on the ghost's head? Looks like this loser is an anti-Semite, too.

Dear video jackass,
First rule of holes. When in a hole DON'T DIG.
DINGO.
All - Let the jackass squawk, he just makes McCain look more dangerous and out of touch. Nothing spooks the middle-classes and swing-voters more than spoiled little YouTube neo-Nazi clowns who'd be shot in their lovers' beds (a la OPERATION HUMMINGBIRD) in a REAL fascist state.

Damn.

Ed, I'm glad that you're giving this story some coverage also. It is quite disturbing to see this going on, and even worse, to be swept under the rug by those who secretly agree with him but, for obvious reasons, are reluctant to admit it.

By the way, the Youtube video wasn't working on my computer (perhaps due to the company firewall), but this "local 12" story has the video as well.

Ed, it's a real shame that the image that comes with your unplayable video is of the negrophobe's neighbor, who's an Obama supporter, objects to the racist display and herself has a mixed-race grandchild. Hers shouldn't be the face of this story.

Noncarborundum, well Ed can't choose where youtube stops its story and the man who hung the display didn't appear on camera, so there are no images of him available in the link at all. Also the text over the image says "neighbours upset over anti-Obama display" so that's a hint that it's not the man in question.

Full-blooded Americans are "white Christians"? My Navajo friends are going to be terribly disappointed.

I guess this is what Palin was talking about when she mentioned "Small town Values" and "Real America"...

to use a old saying I am afraid that the inmates are really trying to take over the asylum and I hope to hell they don't succeed. I would compare this idiot with some low form of life or scum but then I would really be insulting what ever he is compared to, there are not words for what he is
