Update: Tonight's show has been canceled. We had a massive miscommunication here at the station. I'm going to be gone next week but my producer thought it was this week, so HE went out of town and now he's not here to do the show. I can't do it by myself. So they've got a rerun already in the computer for tonight and we're gonna have to reschedule. Whoops.
On tonight's Declaring Independence:
My first guest will be Daphne Eviatar, the legal correspondent for the Washington Independent. We'll be talking about the sad farce that is the Sotomayor confirmation hearings.
My second guest will be Marcy Wheeler of Firedoglake. We'll be discussing last week's IG report on warrantless wiretaps and related issues. Yes, this is the same Marcy Wheeler who uttered the word 'blowjob' on MSNBC last week and caused such outrage.
Update: A third guest has been added. Gerry Hebert, director of the Campaign Legal Center, will be on as well. Gerry was the DOJ official who exposed Sen. Jeff Sessions as a racist when he was up for a judgeship.
As always, you can tune in to the show between 6 and 7 pm EST by clicking here.
