Profile
Ed Brayton is a journalist, commentator and speaker. He is the co-founder and president of Michigan Citizens for Science and co-founder of The Panda's Thumb. He has written for such publications as The Bard, Skeptic and Reports of the National Center for Science Education, spoken in front of many organizations and conferences, and appeared on nationally syndicated radio shows and on C-SPAN. Ed is also a Fellow with the Center for Independent Media and the host of Declaring Independence, a one hour weekly political talk show on WPRR in Grand Rapids, Michigan.(static)

I'm disappointed he didn't bother to wear his gang colours. I guess I shouldn't complain - it's not every day you get to see a grown man deliver a 5th grade schoolyard smackdown in full video.

Seeing these comments reminded me of something I've been thinking about Pat for awhile. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find him sliding into True Forced Loneliness* territory someday soon.

Captain Mike, lol. I ended up on The Stranger's site, they have a link of some stupid, bitter jackass complaining about women being mean to him and forcing into a life of sexlessness and rejection. And one of the first comments was:

More seriously, comments about looks are generally not my thing. I'm kind of a bitch, but I'm not usually that mean. It's just... he really is a basement-dwelling troll. I'd still think of him that way even if he looked like Jude Law. In fact, he'd probably be an even bigger asshole. He's such a horrid bastard that I can't bring myself to nice about it.
I do feel a little a bad. For a second he reminded me of another Pat who looks a little trolly, but is completely awesome and lovable and so therefore does not disgust me and is instead endearing. Only for a second though. Upon closer inspection, the cool Pat clearly is cool and not a deranged, poorly groomed basement troll.
