Youtube Gems: Jamie Kilstein

Posted on: January 31, 2010 9:23 AM, by Ed Brayton

A friend turned me on to a comedian I'd never heard of, Jamie Kilstein, doing this absolutely inspired rant about anti-gay bigots. This is great stuff, it just builds and builds until you're laughing hysterically by the end. I definitely want to hear more from this guy.

Warning: This is not for the easily offended. It's not even for the relatively difficult to offend.

Here's a great rant about the war on drugs:

I actually posted the gay rights one on a forum yesterday, and someone pronounced it "classic heterophobia and religiophobia." Which I thought was a spectacular display of missing the point.

Also, in Denmark our postman delivered mail on a bike. While smoking a pipe (tobacco, pretty sure).

Also also, Google maps > Mapquest.

I tweeted (yes, I use Twitter...) to Jamie Kilstein about his "heterophobia" just now, and asked him if he hates straight people. His reply: "I'm going to start protesting their weddings. Please pass that along to your privileged dipshit acquaintance."

Jamie and his wife Allison also host a show on Breakthru Radio called Citizen Radio. The range of guests they get is pretty incredible.

And he just put out a CD called "Zombie Jesus" that is right up your alley. I actually tried to bring him to my school for an atheist comedy show. He couldn't make it, but he did refer me to his hilarious friends.

I almost peed my pants from laughing so hard! Also, my fave line: "gays have children for other reasons than 'my condom broke!'"
