Radio Show Preview 3-18-10

Posted on: March 18, 2010 12:23 PM, by Ed Brayton

On tonight's Declaring Independence:

Daphne Eviatar, an old friend of the program, will be back with us. She is now an attorney with Human Rights First. We'll be attacking Liz Cheney with a verbal meat cleaver.

Olga Akselrod, an attorney with the Innocence Project, will be on to talk about the scandal of wrongful convictions and how to prevent them.

As always, you can listen to the show live by clicking here from 6-7 pm EST.

Anybody else having problems connecting with the Michigan Messenger? I was commenting in their last night about Rep. Stupak but can't reach the site now. Ive never had this problem with this or any other site before. Rebooting broswers, my computer, and using multiple browsers doesn't work either, i.e., Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.

I'm trying to reach: http://www.michiganmessenger.com

where Google Chrome claims this link, http://www.michiganmessenger.com/magFront.do

is broken.

There's an excellent analysis there by Ed's colleague Eartha Melzer of the ramifications for women/families if health reform opponents win the battle (though the ramifications are described for his/my district only).

Michael-

It should be back up now, but it seems to be slowly repopulating on the DNS servers. Two of our state sites had problems after migrating to a new dedicated server. But it's back up now and if you can't get to it yet, you should be able to soon.

Ed,

I hope you see this. Brad Hart did a post on David Barton and Chris Rodda. It seems that David Barton replied to her at American Creation. As far as I know it is the first time he has. You may want to do a post that links to it.

Thank you to whoever finally put the most recent two episodes of Declaring Independence in the RSS feed. I can't usually catch the show live, and so I rely on the RSS feed to hear it, and when the episodes are late getting into the RSS feed (as they too often are), I don't hear them until much later.
