We had a prior discussion on cognitive performance doping led by the BM on the old site. This was sparked by a Nature commentary which followed a prior editorial.
Nature now has a web poll going asking you to opine on cognitive enhancers. From Retrospectacle:

It isn't a great survey. They ask a question about all the cognitive enhancers you are or have ever taken, and then later ask a question which presumes you've only ever taken one, and asks you with what frequency you took (or are taking) that one enhancer. So if you are currently drinking 2 cups of coffee daily for cognitive enhancement, but also took acute doses pseudoephedrin to help with those late-night study sessions in grad school, you wouldn't know which of these very different drug use patterns to report in the follow-on question (at least I didn't).

I hope you noted your objections to the survey methodology in the comment box, I did.
This is something I never understand about people that want to throw up an obviously flawed survey. By the end, all anyone is thinking about is how insultingly flawed it was and how (in some cases) obvious the intended result is.
Of course, the first time you heard someone described as a "Republican" or "Democratic" political pollster you likely lost all faith in "polling" anyway. What's the matter with just being an "Accurate" pollster...
