Your pictures of volcanoes are wanted!

If you haven’t noticed, I like to use pictures of volcanoes on this here blog. Sometimes I use pictures I’ve taken, but I know that many of you have pictures that would put mine to shame. So, I’d like to ask you, Eruptions readers, if you would send me pictures of volcanoes – erupting or not – that I might use on the blog. I will be sure to give you appropriate credit for the image and if you’d like me to link to your homepage/blog/website whatever, I can do that as well. If you do choose to send me images, please make sure to list the volcano, approximately when you took it and any other pertinent information (such as the details or memories of when you took it). I’ll try to incorporate these images into blog entries on the volcanoes and maybe even have a special showcase of great volcano images.

    Good idea. I would also love to know if there are some good quality pictures of volcanoes in image sizes of 1600×1200 around. Desktop wallpaper type images preferably, sadly most of the good images are far smaller and look less than stellar when resized to fit.

    This is not my photo but a AVO hut cam shot that was too cool to not capture and share

    Look at the lower left hand side of the dome. Appears to be a face like feature created by rock fall.

    As a Webmaster, I don’t bring into the world as strong a nave on any of these areas, but somewhat waste a drawing of my time doing all three. About 20% of my time is dog-tired maintaining the existing site. Unfledged offers are affluent up all the lifetime, the nave of the milieu is rethought, improved graphics are created which press for changes to multiple parts of the site. Someone needs to beget a saintly conviction of where the situate is thriving, and what items be suitable where.
