Doesn't blogger allow you to export?

I really want to like this blog, but it's so hard to take it seriously with all the internet-isms and emotes. It's like some unholy alliance between the stupidity of 4chan and the brilliance of ERV.

:(

At this moment in Google.nl (the netherlands) you are 2, 3 and 4. Number 1 is a gay church in Amsterdam (Evangelische Roze(pink) Vieringen (celebrations). Number 5 is a rowing club named after the Queen of the Netherlands, Beatrix. That is quite some company: God, Erv and Queen!

Livy-- The internet is serious business.

Eddie-- If I have to be second to a church, Im glad its a gay church. hehe!

Wow! Last night I moved my personal blog from Blogger over to WordPress——after blogging the process. Will SB let you import from WordPress? You could do a two-step transfer. What's this nonsense abut four posts per week?

Posted by: Monado, FCD | May 10, 2008 2:59 PM

I think the four-post limit is an intellectual one, not a matter of technology.

If ERV were to repost everything at once it would get less exposure. And perhaps they just don't want it to look like she's not working hard here in her new digs.

ERV:

Oh, believe me, I know the Internet is Serious Business(tm). I "get" the meta humor and such, as I basically grew up on the internet, as presumably you did as well. My comment was just to say that I think using web colloquialisms (which, I might add, many people might not understand) ultimately detracts from your message, as people will write you off as puerile without addressing the main thrust of your argument.

{Obligatory 1eet speak followed by emoticon here}

I think you're missing the point. There're plenty of people doing the whole verbose and dignified thing. ERV is cutting to the chase and speaking to internet morons in words they understand. The result is most amusing. I think she has her demographic down pat. If you want a more austere treatment try Hoofnagle's Denialism blog.
