If we're made in Gods image, God's made of gag, pol, and env.
I'm a graduate student studying the molecular and biochemical evolution of HIV within patients and within populations. I also study epigenetic control of ERVs.

YES! Send me a free issue of Seed.
If I like what I see, I'll receive 5 more issues (6 in all) for just $14.95. That's 50% off the cover price! If I'm not completely satisfied, I'll simply write "cancel" on the invoice and owe nothing. The free issue is mine to keep.

And now a thousand people will go over there looking for the post linking to you, and all the folks at UD will be happy...
And maybe a couple of people will click to see my blog because I wrote this...
Round and round it goes...

Even though the cracker inquisition is in full swing, this is still the funniest thing I've seen today.

That's it ERV. You've proved acceptance of evolution is a not an adaptive behavior. Richard Dawkins has guaranteed our extinction. All we can do now is go find some nice, peaceful anoxic lake bottom where sediment is accumulating and we can be buried and fossilized.

ERV-
how can you withstand such pressure? Surely you must believe in Jesus by now?

Here's a better idea than reading UD: diet water

Dustin ... I saw something pretty funny too!

I'm disappointed by how many people must be reading you at work.

Am I the only one who enjoys pronouncing "UD" as if it were a monosyllabic word?
Try it with me: "Uhd."
Somehow it just fits better.

Aaah now, we can't spoil the fun for the Uncommonly Dense crowd now, shall we? Or rather, they're merely showing that they're Uncommon Dissent.

I'm more worried that you get all these pretty color graphs. Why don't I get pretty colored graphs? Why does Google analytics hate me so?! D:

May I suggest a simple, unobtrusive brushed aluminum?
Nope. That's the first thing I thought of as I was skimming through the feeds this morning. It's also highly appropriate when you consider that "UHD" is a anagram of "DUH."
You've got me tittering. ;-)

UD. Rhymes with "FUD." There's an "eff-word" joke in there somewhere, but I haz teh dum today and can't get to it...
However, you are perfectly free, AFAIC, to start calling UD "Uncertainty and Doubt." :)

U.D.= Unrelenting Dishonesty?

I always try to milk a pun for all it's worth. You'd be udderly disappointed if I didn't. (And I suppose I'd be udderly disappointed if someone didn't have a cow about it.)
As Albert Hitchcock once said: "Puns are the highest form of literature."
Move over, Will. :-)
