I have my first committee meeting this morning (the group of people who tell you when/if you can ever graduate).
I have an Advanced Micro test this afternoon (I am a complete moron when it comes to bacteria, this is going to be fun).
And then the goddamned election.

Good luck on the committee meeting! I’m sure you’ll do great. I’m not sure if yours have the same format as at our school, but mostly they just want to make sure that you’ve got a good project/plan laid out for the rest of your dissertation. It’s usually not very antagonistic at all

On average, I barfed twice a semester from sleep deprivation and stress all through grad school.
I don’t miss that at all.
