Unfortunately for Oklahoma 'lurker' is correct. With the repugs in control of the Senate, the Silly Sally Kerns will push their obnoxious agenda. The repub head of the Senate stated yesterday that they would push things like tort reform and 'family values.' Expect to see their crap the next two years. Our only hope may be that the Governor will veto such bills, as he did this year. The pro-evolution side will fight against them again - for ten years in a row! But we will not have a Democrat-controlled Senate to help.

Here is great news. In Ohio, we had a State Board of Education Member who was one of the few remaining members pushing the agenda from The Discovery Institute. She was even stupid enough to do this a few months after the Dover, PA trial.
This BOE member, Colleen Grady, did not seek reelection because she was going for an Ohio House seat in a pretty Democratic district.
Well, she lost. No Colleen 'Teach The Controversy' Grady in the BOE or the House.

Creationism seems to have mostly died in NC as well. They won't even touch it even in Brunswick county.

As I drove by Noah's Ark being rebuilt in Maryland, I realized that not much had changed since I first drove by it about 25 years ago. Sure, there are now more steel beams welded together (Did Noah really build it that way?), but there is still basically nothing informative there.
