Hmmm. Dembski seems to be making noises about a new "peer-reviewed" paper in the works. . . on the same "conservation of information" crap which has steadily been failing to be relevant to actual biology for years now.

What a sad little spectacle.

Blake, denial isnt going to help you deal with this.

You need to accept the fact that Dembski is dead.

Hes gone.

There will be no more TARD for us to lol at.

... Denyse has sustained severe head trauma...
What? She's making sense?

Dr dr Dembski may be dead, but his sweater will live forever.

The Tard hath give, the Tard hath taken away, blessed be the LOL of the Tard.

Denyse just took time out of her busy schedule to help Sarah Palin organize the writin' with her speeches, also for the campaigns, it's all about the economy there, and gettin' in there, you know. Also though, now that Palin's campaign is over, Denyse can get back to screechifyin' and scarin' little kids and masculine men.

And re: UD Tard-Mine Collapse - Well, ever since Paley, and finally Dover it's been like a Weekend at Bernie's. This does allow DaveTard to really work hard now on his DCA research. Orac is gonna be SOOOO happy...

I'm guessing it will be in an independently-published "peer-reviewed" book. On the off chance that it isn't, I'll take a guess that it's in the International Journal of Fuzzy Systems, Rivista di Biologia, Chaos, Solitons, and Fractals, or, worst-case scenario, PLoS ONE. Please, please, let it not be in PLoS ONE!

O'Leary seems to be out of sorts. There are no links in her latest Evolutionary psychology post to the O'Linky link farm. It could be serious.

Steve, O'Leary sometimes has a link worth reading. Since her strategy is to fire blindly with a shotgun she has to hit an otherwise innocent link every so often.

Anyways, who wants to start a betting pool on how long it takes before Dembski is posting again?

"There is no god..."

No need to overstate the obvious.

"There will be no more TARD for us to lol at."

Yes, we will. We had 46% of the electorate vote for McCain. I rest my case.

Oh don't worry, they'll be more tards arriving any moment to provide us with fresh lulz. You can count on that.

Why do you all think a vulgar pejorative used to stigmatize developmentally disabled children is an appropriate label for the folks at Uncommon Descent?

Posted by: bwv | November 17, 2008 8:03 PM

12

Because the label fits.

Get a helmet.

Don't forget the Proceedings of the Royal Society of Drunkards I Met in a Pub. Hey, don't laugh! The best and brightest global-warming denialists in the world get their information from Proc. Roy. Soc. Drunk. Pub.

Bwa ha ha ha haha! But... What will DaveTard do with his time?

Blake,

I prefer the Proceedings of the Royal Society for Putting Things on Top of Other Things, even if it's a bit silly....

"Dembski's quitting UD so he can spend more time doing research. Now that he's rolled up his sleeves we can expect Waterloo any day now."

What a blatantly obvious statement. UD and research seem to be mutually exclusive.

Bah. He'll be back. Didn't he say once before that he was quitting UD to get some ID done? He had left Dave Scott in charge that time, if I remember.

Too bad those bozos didn't at least try to get some research done before going on to steps 2 and 3 of their little culture war as outlined in their "Wedge" document.

He'll be back, and he'll be wearing a freshly-washed sweater. Sadly, in that department, he beats me. :o(

Wow, so you mean the reason Dembski hasn't produced any research is because he's spent all his time working on his blog?

Considering what Dembski's produced on his blog and extrapolating to ERV, let's see, I can cypher this ... hang on ... nought and nought, carry the nought ...

Great Googly Moogly! That means Abbie will be in grad school 290 years!

"Peer review" to those guys simply means giving the manuscript to their peers and asking them to proofread for typos. And when I say peers, I mean of course their friends.
