I love Stains the dog.
Is it just me or does he look like a Christian Scientist with appendicitis.
My dog would have eaten the cupcakes and attacked the trainer but then again....so would I.
They are, after all, cupcakes.

If a dog can be cute and frightening at the same time that's the one.

I recall reading an excerpt from Darwin's memoirs from the Beagle. Somewhere in S America he met a slave who thought that in some way he had slighted CD. Althgough the guy was twice CD's size, his reaction was pure terror and submission.
I imagine the look in the poor guy's eyes was a bit like that dog.

Aauurrgghh! My black lab ate 9 jumbo muffins once when I was not looking!

I have that same look when cupcakes are within sight. It's those damn sprinkles- they talk to me.

I could hear Dr. Smith from 'Lost in Space' giving his signature line "Oh! The pain of it all!" The trumpet flourish fit in nicely.

I don't know that I've ever seen a more pathos-inspiring expression from a dog. Poor thing!

To NOM, or not to NOM, that is the question!
