AT THE CONVERGENCE OF EVOLUTION AND GENETICS
We talk about molecular population and evolutionary GENETICS and GENOMICS. You know, the caliper measurement of a gene's evolvability in moles.

I loved this! I'm so glad you shared it. My AP biology students thought it was hilarious. Anything that makes science more interesting (and look fun) is great to me.

It's good to see that Bio-Rad is spending their profits wisely.
But it is pretty funny in that damn-I-need-to-get-a-real-life sort of way, I must admit.
Hopefully, this will set off a marketing war among companies: I could envision Applied Biosystems doing a mock Jerry Lewis-like telethon regarding the tragedy of multiple bands in the negative control, and perhaps Stratagene could film a benefit concert at Wembley Stadium regarding blunt-end ligations.
