Profile

Jason Rosenhouse received his PhD in mathematics from Dartmouth College in 2000. He subsequently spent three years as a post-doc at Kansas State University. To San Francisco!

Category: Mathematics
Posted on: January 12, 2010 5:18 PM, by Jason Rosenhouse

Winter term classes started on Monday here at JMU, so I figure this is a good time to get out of dodge! I will be participating in the 2010 Joint Mathematics Meetings in San Francisco. Yay! And while I'm there I expect to take a quick train ride over to Oakland to visit the National Center for Science Education. Double yay!

Should be a fun trip. Regular blogging will resume when I return next week.

You might also want to check out the newish California Academy of Sciences Museum in Golden Gate Park. They have a cool three story Rainforest exhibit and an aquarium.
