EVANGELICALS ORGANIZE ONLINE IN SUPPORT OF MITT ROMNEY AND HIS POSITION ON STEM CELL RESEARCH

From the "where do the 2008 presidential candidates stand on science" files...Today I stumbled across the "Evangelicals for Mitt" blog, a site that tracks the ex-governor's support for "traditional marriage, the "sanctity of human life" and other conservative issues. It's just another sign that Romney is not likely to be a strong "science" candidate when it comes to stem cell research, sex education, STD prevention, abortion access, and a likely host of other issues.

Romney is a major waffler. For instance with regard to gay rights, he's on record as endorsing rights at one point in his political career and now he's on record against rights.

I find it interesting that the evangelicals can embrace a Mormon.
