From an interview this month with NewsMax:
What is your take on global warming and how is it affecting our country?A changing environment will affect Alaska more than any other state, because of our location. I'm not one though who would attribute it to being man-made.

I'm an alaskan, I lead glacier tours. Some of you who visit here seem to think I'm an expert on it, even though I live in a state with less than 700000 citizens. Any chance Sarah could also be a bit of an expert on it? Or is it too much to ask in a political environment for someone to allow another person to be an expert simply based upon how large or small a town they are from?
Our glaicer here in alaska were formed near the end of the pleistocene era, some 10,000 years ago, and have been the victims of "global warming" ever since... We still have over half the worlds glaciers contained within our borders, and they all have been secumbing to this global melting phenomenon ever since they peaked back those thousands of years ago. Most alaskans are fairly well educated with respect to this
