We can now show that living people are much more different from early modern humans than any differences between Neandertals and other contemporary peoples.

Apart from the inv(FOXP2)(px) I guess this seems to be solid evidence of interbreeding between neandertals and humans.

Yeah, it all points to recent selection sweeps particularly in Eurasia.
