Via E. Klein, I found out abut a new show on PBS this fall, Spain...on the Road Again, starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Mario Batali, Mark Bittman, and Claudia Bassols. Preview below the fold....

I have to admit that Batali's corpulence makes me recall a Sesame Street game...

Ah, Bassols -- obviament un cognom catala. Look at that adorable bunny-like overbite, typical of the Iberians. Les noietes de barcelona, com les trobo a faltar!

BTW, I am so milking my stay in Spain before it became mainstream, anytime I meet someone from the SWPL set. Have you noticed that over the past couple years, and especially very recently, Whole Foods is carrying lots of Spanish stuff? All the Greek stuff that was fashionable ten years ago has been relegated to the back of the store.

Still no jamon serrano, but that's what igourmet.com or something like that is for.
