This is a virtual keyboard, just a laser image on your desk. See the others in the list of 10 Strange Keyboards, here.
The Wearable Keyboard is just a little too close to being a Nintendo Power Glove for my comfort, but the roll-up one definitely has some applications. None of these are as interesting as the steampunk keyboards I saw somewhere a few months ago. Now that’s at least a very pretty waste of money.
Hugely off topic, but any ideas why KDE might hang permanently after login on a Mandriva installation? It seems the KDE fails to attach itself to the X server, but I’ve no idea how to fix this.
Apple just anounced a new laptop that’s almost literally wafer thin. How they do it, I don’t know, but it’s going to make them a fortune.
Given that we have roll-up keyboards and are looking at roll-up TVs/monitors, how long is it going to be before we have a roll-up laptop?
Now that we also have projectors, we could have a roll-up laptop with a built-in projector that creates an image as large as you like on the nearest wall. Remember that you heard it here first!
I’d still rather have Das Keyboard.
