Religious Mother Murders Children

Category: Religion
Posted on: January 11, 2008 10:55 AM, by Greg Laden

They were possessed by the devil. She claims the demons did the killing but authorities may not be buying it.

Banita Jacks, 33, is charged with three counts of felony murder and one count of first-degree murder while armed.

The victims, who range in age from 5 to 17 years, are thought to be her daughters. ...

Jacks told police that her daughters were possessed by demons and that each died in her sleep during a seven- to 10-day period, court documents said. Aja died first, she told police, then N'kiah, Tatianna and Brittany.

"She said that as the first three younger children died, she placed them side by side in the room in which they died," according to court documents.

She reported that all the deaths occurred sometime before the electricity in her house was disconnected, which records show was September 5, 2007, documents said.

Jacks said she never tried to call authorities to remove the bodies "because she didn't trust either agency and because she thought if she notified emergency personnel, that would cause her more problems," the documents said.

Read the horrid story here.

Are atheists ever posessed by demons or do they just go for the religious folks?

If an athiest mother had done this the mainstream media would be screaming for her head.

"she thought if she notified emergency personnel, that would cause her more problems."

Well, she was right about that.

Here she is, trying to do the proper Christian thing, and the government is persecuting her! And you people are too. Shame on you.

Killing one's children because they won't behave is sanctioned by the Bible. I'm sure that demon-possessed children behave even worse that regular ones so its the Yahweh/Christ approved thing to do.

Before you scoff at this demon possession stuff...

Let me tell you about a friend who was possessed by demons. His family called in an exorcist, and after several long, grueling exorcism sessions, the demons were cast out.

The exorcist then sent my friend's family a bill for $10,000.

They refused to pay.

You know what happened next?

My friend was repossessed! (ducks and runs...)

I wonder. Does the craziness that woman obviously exhibited go with being "religious", or does the religiosity develop as a result of the crazness? Inquiring minds want to know.
