I've known Shea for years ... since before grad school. Going out drinking with this guy was a little dangerous. Almost as dangerous as going out drinking with me.

While I agree with Shea's point (no pun intended), doesn't his demonstration more or less ignore the fact that a Neanderthal probably would have been much stronger than Shea (and, presumably, significantly stronger than contemporary H. sapiens)?
