This Blog is Number One!

Category: Blogospherics

(... times ten to the fourth....)

As of some time since I last checked, this blog has moved into a Technorati Ranking of less than 10,000. PZ, move over, baby, I'm comin' for ya. (...wait ... I'm not sure if I meant that how it sounded....)

Anyway, I owe it all to my loyal readers, all eleven of you, and to all the link love that we share. Thanks for making it all possible.

Congrats!
So...I'm an order of magnitude behind you, 134,803. If 11 readers = top 10,000, that means I have a reader! Sweet.

I think my obsessive linking to your site may have something to do with that; so where's my Thank You Pony?

My god! I put the pony in your garage several days ago!!!! You haven't checked?

Damn, it's probably not a very happy pony by now...

Was I s'sposed to feed it or something?

I checked my ranking, and in 2006 they say they were tracking over 3 million blogs. So, with a ranking of 46742, that puts Tangled Up in Blue Guy in the 99th %ile.

We're in the same class, dude.

Keep on coming up. That way, these links from you might mean more than a negligible tickle to my traffic numbers!

(How's that for a simultaneous encouragement and put-down?)

Go ahead, PZ, .... keep up the attitude. Just remember what happened to Louis XIV and Tsar Nicholas and all those other guys...
