Atheistic Ally of Science TUIBG on The Nature of Blogging

Posted on: March 2, 2008 4:25 PM, by Greg Laden

Even though TUIB guy mysteriously fails to link to me (causing me to miss his post because it did not show up in my link detecting system), I want to point out this well done rant on the recent BlaBlaBlaBlog Flap:

I would say they are being disingenuous in dissing the bloggers who get a share of the traffic they feed to Seed Magazine's advertisers. They are feeding off of that traffic, and they know it. They did grab some concern trollers who don't like when science bloggers make fun of creationists, but I think that grabbing attention by ridiculing creationism is fair game. It illustrates the ludicrous position that one can claim science provides "evidence" for supernatural claims. It teaches skeptically.

This is a detailed analysis. Check it out here.

Thanks, Coturnix. But more to the point, Greg, I wonder why you don't have Tangled Up in Blue Guy in your feed reader. Hm?

Listen, I friended you in Facebook without having to wait for PZ to prompt me. That should count for something, right?

Truth is, I was in a hurry to get to work when I went back in to build the links and my friend Steve was distracting me. I fully intended to create the link to your post and will fix it now.

Actually, I don't use a feed reader to keep track of the blogs I actually read. I have a different method. But I'll add it anyway.
