Creationist Pop Up Book

Posted on: April 7, 2008 7:45 PM, by Greg Laden

Oh, no, wait, I read that wrong...

.... "Creationist Book Pops Up .... In Scotland..."

Remember Harun Yahya's Atlas of Creation, the lavishly illustrated Islamic creationist book that first turned up in Turkey, then France and other European countries and prompted a disapproving resolution by the Council of Europe? It's now being mailed to universities in Scotland

The mysterious Istanbul writer Harun Yahya (actually Adnan Oktar) is clearly spending large amounts of money sending this unwelcome book around Europe. Where does he get it from?

Have you seen this book? I got my copy a couple of years ago. It weights about 22 kilos and does not fit on any of my shelves.

Click HERE if you want to see a twenty-plus part series of YouTube videos of a meeting between Octar and media in Europe.

I got my hands on four copies last year, when Harun mailed about 25 books to a local company that owns several radio stations. Apparently they were directed to go to reporters and other on-air talent. I have a friend who worked there who scavenged a few unwanted copies and sent them my way. They are now in the hands of evil-utionists and skeptics in Anchorage, except for one, which still doesn't have a home.

Is this the book that is lavishly illustrated with pictures that are stolen form the web? Including one of some sort of fly that "has not changed in millions of years" ---except that the live fly is actually a hyper-realistic fishing lure? Including the enormous fish hook sticking out of its abdomen?

Speaking of Creationist Textbooks, I received C. David Parson's truly awful The Quest for Right in the mail yesterday. It is as bad as I feared. No wait, it is worse.

The Quest for Right is Doing it Wrong

I got to briefly peruse a copy recently. The most amazing part was where the author blamed the 9/11 attacks on Darwinists. Yowza!

That's the one!

Hey, all the usual sorts of Creationist liars have turned up on the SUnday Herald article which broke the story. They need bashing.

I remember the good old days when the Sunday Herald had a proper forum, before it got shut down. Now, with these stupid long comments sections underneath stories, it is much harder to keep track of things.

Even if one allows for a few fishing-lures how does that compare with the disgraceful distortions, fabrications, frauds and scandals via secular-world order backed propaganda that evolutionists for 150 years! have consistently resorted to in order to prove or keep alive what has clearly been shown (particularly from 80's onwards) to be a clear-cut deception:- THE FAIRY TALE OF EVOLUTION.

WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF THE HUNDREDS OF EXAMPLES OF NON-TRANSITIONAL FORMS THAT THE ATLAS SHOWS?!
THE POINT HAS BEEN TRULY MADE AND PROVED SO IT IS NOTHING BUT VAIN EFFORTS ON THE PART OF THOSE WHO'S WORLD-VIEW HAS BEEN RUINED
IT IS NOTHING BUT CLUTCHING AAT STRAWS!

Once the a person comes to know of the deception and nonsence that scientifically is evolution it is IMPOSSIBLE TO SINCERELY BELIEVE IN IT ANY LONGER

IT IS ALL OVER

IT IS NOTHING BUT CLUTCHING AT STRAWS FOR HIM, AS HE DESPERATELY SEEKS ATTENTION FOR HIS KINDERGARTEN LEVEL OF SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE!!!!!!
BWAAAAAAH ITS NOT FAIR! "

Adnan Oktar doesn't have even basic knowledge of biology or zoology, so how can he write a book that "demolishes evolution"?

The answer is: He can't. He doesn't write his books. He gets a crew of cultists to copy and paste American creationist waffle and then sits back and pretends that he is a great scientist, or even a messiah.
but the cold hard fact of the matter is that Adnan Oktar is merely a sad wannabe scientist/messiah. He even has to blackmail women in an effort to get them into bed. fortunately he was apprehended by the law and is now serving three years in prison. not much of a respected intellectual/scientist/messiah now is he?
