    I am an Ubuntu user, and have found it vastly superior to any of the MS flavors. Although I am recent convert [switched when Vista came out], I have been getting people to at least try it out. It seems that most people who have been using MS all their lives are able to use Ubuntu with nearly as much ease on their first day.

    A functioning Linux system running Gnome with the standard installation is a zero learning curve for a windows or mac user.

    I laugh when people say “yeah, but it’s so hard to configure, you have to use the command line….” and I think, OK, buddy, when was the last time you “configured” your windows PC and that went well?
