The recent salmonella outbreak, which sickened over 1200 people, has been traced to a single jalapeno pepper hiding out in McAllen, Texas. The pepper has been detained by Homeland Security officials and rumors have it that it will be transported to Guantanamo, the secret US military base in nearby Cuba, for "intensive questioning." No-- never waterboard a jalapeno; you should use sour cream or milk to cut the capsaicin. ;)
