Are you available for brunch this Sunday?

Posted on: July 23, 2008 7:26 PM, by Greg Laden

Whereas PZ Myers is coming to town (and that is always a big event because the wagon trains don't make it to this part of the state so easily) Mike Haubrich has organized an event and I hope you can come. I'll be there for sure.

PZ is doing Live Talk Radio Sunday (27 July 2008) morning (details forthcoming) and this will be after that, not far from the radio station.

The first thing PZ does when he gets to town is to take over the radio station.

The get together will be at Q. Cumbers Restaurant. Q (the owner) is cool, and buys ads on the Atheist Talk Radio show about how is brunch is Intelligently Designed.

This is one of those big giant places with troughs of food ... you pay for grazing rights and they let you loose. There is a soft ice cream machine.

Mike has a facebook group which you might be able to get to here to let him know you are going, but certainly you can just show up.

Q. Cumbers is located at 7465 France Avenue S, which I think is Edina or Bloomington. This is south of Southdale and very near the Centennial Lakes movie theater, just north of I 484

Here is a coupon for a buck off at Q. Cumbers.

Even better, Mickey will give a $2.00 discount for anyone that prints a copy of the radio page at mnatheists.org!

Thanks for helping to spread the word.

(And no, the word isn't "legs."

Is this the meeting where PZ will be planning the attacks on Catholic churches during the Republican Convention?

3

Ssshhh....And the attack will only be a surgical strike intended to liberate crackers.

If he's going to take over a radio station, can't he take over one that needs it more?

PZ has a cyberpistol and is not afraid to use it!

I wish that I lived closer because I'm sure it would be fun. I just don't think it would be worth driving an hour both ways. Very soon I'll be partaking in the MN Atheists festivities.

"Is this the meeting where PZ will be planning the attacks on Catholic churches during the Republican Convention?"

And to explain the anti-Semitism in Catholic, therefore to please one of the influential stakeholder of mass media in this country in order that he can release from his recent wafer crisis.

A Harvard graduate needs this kind of knitting to survive in science blog? Shame! Don't underestimate the intelligence of American people.

Paiwan, I know it's not easy when you don't speak a language well, but you've got to learn to recognize sarcasm. It's brunch, dude, in a very open restaurant. There will be food and laughter and friendly people. The agenda will be to have a good time, and the only attacks planned will be raids on the buffet.

Stephanie Z: You are correctly rating my English in the first place. If people like me could care, then at least a twitch should leave on the conscience of a person who had been immersed in the founding tradition of the best higher education in this country; integrity, trustworthy and consistency. See how the faculty disciplined the president of his university.

Read the following interview in The Minnesota Independence:

PZ Meyers said: "The idea that Jews, for instance, want to steal consecrated wafers as an element of evil Jewish rites has been circulated fairly often, as a preliminary rationalization for oppression.

Curiously, many (but still a minority) of the email messages I have received have 'accused' me of being Jewish, addressing me as "jew boy" or "liberal pinko jew."
http://minnesotaindependent.com/view/mnindy-interview

Is this sarcasm or incitement?

"Wafer is just a cracker."
"Declaration of Independence is just the ink on the paper."
"Just only food and laughter."

If we can push over this reasoning, then scientism can replace science; as Melanie Mattson's saying "We are raising up a generation of narcissists."

What is the meaning to be a friend? Are you indulged in knitting and using PZ Meyers or his friends, I am confused.
