Saint Paul Police = Big Brother. SHAME!

I have not been able to find a news reference on line for this yet, not even AP seems to have it, but I can tell you what I heard on the car radio moments ago. A group of documentary film makers who have previously documented police abuse of demonstrators in other cities has just arrived in Saint Paul. The Saint Paul Police found them, harassed them, and took away their cameras and other equipment.

The only thing we know so far is what the film makers are claiming. The police agree that something happened but say that their version is different. I believe the police are also saying that they acted in accordance with Patriot Act law.

There really is going to be something entirely different going on in St. Paul than has been going on in Denver, where Police Outnumber Protesters At DNC.

... on Sunday, organizers of the No More Occupation march -- with a permit for as many as 25,000 people -- drew a crowd of 1,000. A march later that day was expected to draw 20,000 people. About 40 showed up.

I think people just are not that mad at the Democrats. I heard a story, on NPR, about a protest planned for the US Mint in Denver. The reporter giving the story went with dozens of other reporters to cover it. He found machine gun nests established on the high ground, snipers on nearby roofs, ATF and other federal agents everywhere, some armored vehicles, etc.

Then the protesters came. It was two guys. Two. One was dressed as a wizard. The wizard approached the mint, then said that he was going to levitate himself. He tried that for a while, then everyone went home.

The levitation was not successful, though I'm sure it was a riot. Funny ha ha riot, not break the store windows and run home with the TV riot.

Someone dressed as a wizard tried to levitate into the mint and the fundies didn't pick up on it? I should think they would be all over this flagrant case of satanists run amuck!
