Yep, very impressive. Interesting comment I read on a blog recently said origami is a good analogy for embryological development (early in the process small changes give drastically different body shapes, late in the process small changes fine-tune the details of a body shape). This one makes you see it all the more, since he makes actual creatures according to any spec.
