Haggling is hard. I mean, it's a little easier, when you're overseas, to know that not haggling can screw things over a little bit for other tourists and sometimes other locals. I would have haggled more in Africa (I did... okay), but without knowing how horrid the markup is, I'd often rather just not buy.
As for high heels, Greg, the knowledge is great, but I'm pretty sure that wearing them during haggling could interfere with the bargaining process for some of us ;)
