Good news; there will be no drilling, either off shore or on the North Slope. Why? Aint necessary no more.
For real? Oil is now too cheap to justify opening additional fields. Oh, and hybrid sales are going to tank.

You know it would be interesting to create a chart of oil barrel prices v. pump prices and see exactly what the pump price was at each time the barrel price was where it is now (close to $60/bbl last I heard).
Of course we all know that the price of gas isn’t tied to the price of oil, but to how far you’re prepared to drive before you settle for the posted price at the next gas station!
