Michele Bachmann: Breathtakingly Debased Extremist

Category: Politics

And Pat Buchanan too. Buchanan is a thousand times smarter than Bachmann (as is the ant I just stepped on by accident in the garage). But Buchanan is scum. Sku-fucking-um.

Just in case you are interested in contacting MSNBC to respectuflly ask that Pat Buchanan be dropped from the team, click here.

Just in case you want to help show Michel Bachmann the door, consider donating to her opponent's campaign, click here.

I did think that Katrina was laying on a pretty thick coat of hyperbole, but Pat's response to her was abysmal. He didn't make a single valid point, IMHO.

If anybody's interested there's a petition going to censure Bachmann. It can be found here:

Currently it has over 18K signatures!

Chris Matthews' legs are still tingling from Obama's latest speech. The fact is Matthews has lost all objectivity and nobody should take seriously any analysis made by Chris Matthews when it comes to this election.

I watched the entire conversation at another blog and I think you guys are making mountains out of mole hills here. Chris Matthews went after her over and over trying to get her to call people like Nancy Pelosi anti-American. She clearly said, I'm not going to call them anti-American, yet Chris Matthews continued to prod and prod her.

There's very little difference between a right winger calling Wright and Ayers anti-American and the left wing calling the right wing, and anyone else who even slightly critizes Obama, racist facists.

Joel, I've really been pretty impressed with you during this election--up to this point. You haven't disappeared even when you were being pounded on. You did a pretty good job of finding sources we might listen to. You even started by arguing from a position of "neutrality," which is fairly clever.

This? You just lost me. Yes, she said, in the middle of the interview, that she wasn't going to call them anti-American. Then she called for investigations of about a third of Congress. She didn't ask the public to vote them out of office. She asked that they be investigated--for trying to serve their country. Asking that Bachmann's opponent be helped to win is nothing like equivalent.

Yes, Matthews asked her questions. He's a reporter. Bachmann didn't get confused. She didn't get battered into submission. All she did was finally go off script and open a portal into that dark little mind of hers.

Joel, I live four blocks from the edge of Michele Bachmann's district. I have seen her in action since she was in the state house. What you saw on Hardball was Michelle Bachmann being more sane than usual, more polite than usual, less inflammatory than usual. That was Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann on her best behavior.

This is not Chris Matthews making something up. This is you and me and everyone else in the country being victimized by the right wing. If you think that when it comes down to it that they'll be OK with you, you are quite mistaken.

Stephanie, I think there is a difference between calling for investigations and her saying the press ought to do an expose on the subject. Which is what I think you are refering to. Who's going to listen to that suggestion?

If you think that when it comes down to it that they'll be OK with you, you are quite mistaken.

When they come for me, I won't really care if they are right wing facists or left wing socialists. It's still going to suck.
