Simple, no matter how dumb your screw up is, just throw a flag over your head and go down on the statue of liberty. You'll be fine.

You're not allowed to flub? Everything you say has to be perfect? Well thank you for that, Mr. Particular. Now that I know how persnickity you are, I will refrain from proofing my comments henceforward just to rile you. :)

Ah, but it was such a funny flub. Definitely worth sharing for a good laugh.

What Greg hasn't included, but is equally funny, is that Obama said he had visited, "Fifty, ah, fifty seven states ..." Greg - you've got to put up that clip!

At least I've never wrapped myself in a flag because of a speling error!!!!!

I'll go find the clip of Obama now....

With this clip, McCain demonstrates just how much like George W Bush he really is.

"Fool me twice, you don't get fooled again."

The expressions on the faces of the people behind McCain are priceless.

I don't view this as a big deal either. I find it amusing for one reason: the look on his face after he finishes saying Senator Obama's supporters have been saying some pretty nasty things. He hears boos growing, and his face literally screams "Boy, the punch line is really gonna get 'em going." Then he muffs it, and back-scrambles in an attempt to get the moment back. Funny, but simply a gaff i speech.
I found his sucking up to the religious right, after he correctly condemned them, to be his first revolting action; it was then I began looking askance at his bid for the presidency.
