Interesting challenge question! Could be real - I've seen weirder - but in this case I think it probably isn't.
A lookup of the public WHOIS info shows it's registered to Brendan Burch, at a business address just off Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. At that address is Flaming Angel Films (http://www.flamingangelfilms.com/), which from the looks of it isn't the type to produce this sort of thing seriously.

Ah, such is the nature of Poes that without that smiley, you can't tell. This obviously took a bit of work, so if it is the work of a solitary individual, it is most likely to be real. Ergo, if it is a Poe, then it is most likely either some "student project" or it's professional and just a part of a larger marketing campaign for something else.
whois says the domain was registered on 19 Apr 2005 16:22:57 by one Brendon Birch of Los Angeles, Cali. but the IP address is in NH. I'm not sure what to think right now.

Thanks Matt! It appears that our comments crossed in cyberspace. Looking over the Flaming Angel Films website, I'm thinking definite Poe.

Check out the "Gods and Gays" link on the left side. No chance this site is serious.

Fake:
1. No true christian would be as well informed about Egyptian deities
2. "teaches children that it's "ok" to have imaginary friends"

Reading through the "Hello, Kitty or Anubis" article, I'm going with parody.

Fake: "This interview with Jesus was conducted specifically with screwed-up homosexuals like you in mind."

Fake "We here at Christians against cartoons..." standard faux-sales pitch.
It's probably the same guys from the "Things White people Like" site

Alistair, it is asboloutely untrue that no real Christian would know about Egyptian Gods. I studied mythology in grammar school in my Catholic school. I have many Christian friends who are quite well-read. Bad generalization.

bifemme: OH! So then the nuns told you about Isis, and how she was a progenitor to the Virgin Mary, but that, unlike the Virgin, she didn't hve a cult of her own? And how similar Isis was to the many Catholics, in that she had a kid with her brother?
Wow: the Catholics have come a long way....now they call themselves Christians, whereas for most of history they have acted as Virginians, and virgin-fertility cultists.
