The US doesn’t need many robots since we don’t manufacture most products anymore.
At work we’ve just purchased our first robot to avoid hiring another 1/2 person for our manufacturing line. This makes our robot to human ratio 1:10 (5 humans & 1 robot) so I’m helping to bring the robot ratio up for the US. Now if we can only start doing more manufacturing in the US we can replace people with robots and then we can be competitive in this robot race.
