Secular Coalition for America: 2008 & 2009

With Democrats soon to be in control of both the U.S. Congress and the Presidency, can we afford to relax our vigilance regarding Separation of State and Church? Not hardly. The presidential candidates fell all over themselves trying to out-Christian each other. President-elect Obama has promised to expand government-funded faith-based charities. And, he just chose conservative pastor Rick Warren to give the invocation at the presidential inauguration.

Secular Coalition for America's executive director Lori Lipman Brown joins us to discuss their activities this past year lobbying for Separation of State and Church and what we can expect in the coming year.
