I worked blogging into my life, and visa versa, over the last couple of years in such a way that I can keep a steady stream of reasonable posts going as long as I do not leave town. When I leave town, I simply pre-blog a few days worth of stuff and hope to get back to the blogosphere now and then to fill in the gaps.
But this did not work when I went to ScienceOnline 09, the UnConference! There was, in fact, a bit of a kryptonite effect going on there. Being in very close proximity to 200 other bloggers makes blogging kind of difficult for some reason. I had not anticipated that.
So last night, I came home quite late, and about an hour ago, I woke up, and I am still, shamefully, working on my first cup of coffee.
So to keep you occupied while I work on that second cup, I’ve got a few items for you to look at:
So I show up in person at the conference, and find out that Rick MacPherson has outed me. Here. So much for my deep deep cover. And Rick has quite an interesting item here as well.
Bora has been doing his blogospheric duties here.
If you are my wife do not read this.
Andrew, who is anonymous and whom I think I might have had a couple of drinks with, has comments on the conference here.
The Flying Trilobite has changed the fundamental nature of the universe by making his blog black on white!!!! This was in part the outcome of peer pressure at the conference. Have a look, it is quite nice. Now, I think he should work his tatoo into his masthead.
