The 2008 Weblog Awards are coming up, and apparently you can vote to help determine who wins. The site is here.
I'm not sure how this works, exactly, but voting starts in a couple of days from now.
You can, for instance, vote for ME or some other blogger for best science blog, as I am for some reason one of the nominees in that category. I wish to thank the academy and all the little people, but I don't think I have a chance against Pharyngula, Bad Astronomy and Real Climate. But getting nominated is nice.
But do go vote for somebody in that category, show the world that science blogs are important!
Please consider voting for Miss Cellania in the Best Large Blog category. If you read this blog (this one, here, the one you are looking at right now) you should know that Cellania is a fellow reader. You fellow readers need to stick together.
I'm going to vote for JoeMyGod in the Best LGBT category because Joe once linked to me big time.
There are many other categories. Go for it!

Congrats.
There are two categories that are nonsensical: The Best Conservative Blog, and The Best Religious Blog.
Are there really degrees of stupid?

Congratulations on your nomination. Although science is dead, it's hard not to admire your pluck in writing about it anyway.

I'm definately voting for Jon Swift for funniest blog. Too bad you are not in the conservative and/or liberal category!
