What a nice man! But it’s clear that atheism does lead to vice – he studied (sort of) philosophy!

I know what you mean. Right now I’m torn between cracking open another beer or critiquing Nietzche. How did my life ever end up in this gutter?

    I love it:

“When you’re a working class Mum, Jesus is like an unpaid babysitter.”

    and

“If there is a God, why did he make me an atheist?”

“If there is a God, why did he make me an atheist?”

That’s the one that plagues me as well, and I’ve never gotten a good answer. Usually it’s something to do with free will, as if chose to be one, which I did, of course, but then the question becomes, “Did God know I would become an atheist when he made me, or didn’t He?”

If yes, He’s kind of a jerk. If no, then what else doesn’t He know?

This was great. They skipped over the atheist part rather quickly though didn’t they? I think the audience felt a little uncomfortable.
