Stacy, WordPress has a widget in their default widget list that you can just select. You don't need to mess with adding it manually. I believe it's even named "Recent Comments."

It's not an option with the "theme" that I have chosen. :-(

Stacy, is your theme widget ready? Blix? That may be a problematic theme. You might want to look at other themes.

I don't know what 'Blix' is.

As far as widgets go ... each theme has different options available. Recent Comments is not available with my theme but I've never had a problem uploading a widget manually into a generic 'text' widget. I can use as many of those as I want.

I copied the widget code but it just came up blank.
