What is the best mouse? Check out this survey. You may find it useful, or you may disagree with it. I personally like my HP wireless mousy.

What are the ten coolest Open Source Products of 2008? There is a list here, but it is a bit disappointing because half of the products listed are distros. Really, there should be a separate list. People want to know what cool software they should be downloading, not what new systems they should be installing....

Get yourself started on string process in the shell. Most fun you can have with your pants on. Seriously.

The Zune is back. I still don't know what it is, but it's back:

Microsoft says Zune players working again


(AP) -- Many of Microsoft's Zune media players that froze up on the last day of 2008 because of a glitch involving their internal clock were functioning properly Thursday as the new year was ushered in, according to the company. However, a few people were still complaining of problems operating the devices.

Zune is mocrosoft's answer to the iPod. For all intensive purposes it works identically except that it doesn't dock with iPod devices, meaning your options for useful accessories are extremely limited.
