How timely, I just got an email from Mario Armstrong (founder) about this site...isn't it great?

It does look great. I hope it does not get overrun by non-STEM crazy people who just want yet another social network. Or purchaced by Yahoo. Or whatever.

Hi Greg thanks for posting about TechTechBoom.com & don't worry your concern is covered no NON-STEM crazies are allowed :-) In fact we went in the opposite direction of other STEM sites which are mostly top-down and adult driven. We decided to survey 100's of high school students to find out what they would want from a STEM website community and then we hired 11 high school students to develop the information architecture, the name, work side by side with professional designers and programmers the process started back in August of last year. This is a place for teens to network, find mentors, build profiles, share science and tech video, homework issues and learn about careers in STEM. Would love to talk in detail with you about it & hear any thoughts/advice you may have. Thanks, Mario
