    I can hear the generals now: “We‘re not homophobic, but the troops are. And we can’t spare the extra resources to protect the homos from the rest of the troops.”

    The problem is that the “troops”(hetero-men, in this case) are worried that homosexuals will treat them the same way they treat women in the military!
