I'm just waiting for an opportunity to yell roflcopter.

But I do actually say, "meh." I did that long before I texted. And I still tend to text in full, proper English.

Stephanie: My meatspace expression of boredom or disgust was always "bah". As in "humbug", not sheep.
Even amongst my peers in the IT department at work, I am the most consistently grammatically correct over instant messengers or e-mail. My scholastic career (having taken a BA(Eng)) might have something to do with it.

Wow Stephanie, I am always impressed by people who text in complete English. It takes me half a fucking hour just to text about twenty or so characters...

Heh, ROFLCOPTER.
