Never considered those calling and supporting Sebelius? They haven't yet considered that their fellow citizens voted Obama into office by 10 million more votes, including states McCain was supposed to walk away with. They still think THAT's an international - or at least highly subversive home-grown - "socialist" baby-eating satanic plot to destroy the USA. It's no surprise at all they didn't consider that people actually think differently and that Sebelius is qualified.
They aren't in the business of considering positions they don't have on their official talking points card. It's just easier to log everything in the Satanic cosmological cataclysmic armageddon recipe column. In which case one has to wonder why they even care, if their afterlife is supposedly so great and salvational.

On the one hand, you do have some pretty damned good company on that list, on the other, there are some very smart people missing - and dammit, you aren't really, really awesomest and truly smartest until you've been quoted in the NYT five times and interviewed on NPR at least ten times...
And honestly folks, my own humble demeanor far outshines Greg's. I'm really the most magnificently humble person I know - possibly the most stunningly (fantabulously even) humble person alive today. Like, the people around me totally bow to my awesome meekness...

I've probably only been in the NYT two or three times (maybe three or four), and NPR probably only a couple of times. But I've been on The World (Canadian broadcast) in The Globe (a couple of time) front page science section in the Star Tribune (when they had a science section) and a few other times in the Strib and the Pioneer Press (St. Paul).
But I don't want to brag or anything.
