Along with my special guest, Congressman Michael Burgess, who practiced medicine before coming to Congress and who sits on one of the House committees with jurisdiction over the health care reform legislation, we’ll be discussing the proposals that are making their way through Congress and hearing your thoughts on this important issue. I hope you’ll join us for this critical discussion.

    This seems like an opportunity to show republicans what a real grass roots movement looks like. You could hold her feet to the fire for the ridiculous and grizzly lies they’re using to rally the troops.

    They key word here is “host.” Don’t expect Bachmann to field any questions herself. She has yet to face her constituents in an open forum since taking office, and there’s no indication this event will be any different. Those attending should demand that Bachmann and not some out-of-state congressman take questions.
