    You can neither buy nor sell uranium or its ores without appropriate permits (well, unless you’re in the underground market).

    Uranium has plenty uses; its oxides and salts form a variety of beautiful colors so you could make a radioactive painting. It’s used as ballast in the wingtips of large aircraft. It’s useful for testing your handheld radiation measurement devices. You can use it to teach people about radiation.

    I’d go for Cobalt instead though; it involves far less paperwork.
