The fact that transferring data via a removable storage device is actually faster in lots of cases is not at all surprising. Amusing 'tests' pointing it our are not only fun, but have a long history and serve as a good reminder of this easy to forget fact. (And good bludgeon to hit silly managers over the head with on occasion.)
